My german shepherd girl has a yeast infection or something because she stinks like rotten fritos all of a sudden in the past few days. Seeing as it's winter and there's a foot of snow outside, doing it outside is out of the question. I was going to bring her to one of those self serve dog grooming centers, but I'd feel terrible stinking that place up with her to be quite honest lol same goes for a professional groomer + the cheapest one I could find was around $120 for her. So here we are, about to bathe her in the tub and this came in handy. Thank you for this!
I used to bath my dogs to much. I heard you should only bath them once a month, but b/caz I didn't like the dog smell, I bathed them a few x's a week. Idk that I was taking the oils from they're fur away & ect. I just wanted a nice clean dogs & a house that didn't smell like animals. Then my mom said you can buy "Proof" hopefully that's the name, but you rub it on your dog, furniture, clothes n ect & it elimates the dog smell. Sold at Walmart, $20 a bottle. (Sounds like a commerial) If It's not called "proof" then maybe it's called "poof", which sounds more like it. Good luck.
Cool and all, but I have a dog that becomes hysterical when I even try to get him in the bathroom. If the bathroom door is opened he even refuses to come in the apartment 😀
I don't have a dog tub Or a handheld shower in the bathtub in my bathroom and I always find it to be really ridiculous when people ask people that have never seen them before on YouTube with if your new and you like this video hit the like and subscribe before they have ever even seen the video.
I Was Thinking the same Thing To about My dog But she refuses not Too Take a Bath. It's just because she Doesn't like the Sound of the Shower and I don't Know what to Do But does anyone have any advice or tips that Could help me?
I came here because my Australian shepherd puppy who is 6 months old and already as big as an adult pitches such a fit and has even bitten us. He hates the hose! Tonight my husband washed him on the deck with a cloth and a bucket of water. When he tried to hose him he attacked the hose and bit my husband. I've had dogs all my life, rescues that i knew nothing about, and I've never seen anything like him. Maybe it's just the breed and his age. He's going to "college " next month praise God!😂
I, unfortunately have to get into the shower with my dog to bath him. He refuses to get into the bath. He is a fully grown English Mastiff and lies flat on the floor when he sees the bath and there is no way I can lift him. So I convince him into the shower and get inside to shower him and get a shower at the same time. Still wouldn't change him for the world.
Adopted a big dog when we moved, the previous renters left her behind. I have no idea if they ever bathed her and I have no experience, but she needs it so I'm giving it a go. Thanks for the tips, I'll let you know how it goes 😅
My beagle sits still, perfectly. However; she hates turning clockwise for me. I have to stand over her to reach the opposite side of her body. It hurts my back. That's why I dread bath time in the home. Outdoors in warm weather, I love. I am not limited walking around her without space limitation.
Thanks, but how do I get my dog INTO the tub? He’s too heavy and runs away when he knows I’m trying to bathe him. I need him to jump into the tub himself.
My dog is too smart for the peanut butter trick. He's a husky, at first it was ok but then he realized that I'm distracting him to give him a bath, so peanut butter kinda work at the beginning for me but it didn't last
It seems like my dog is super afraid of the bathroom even with peanut butter in the tub my wife is gonna be wondering why I did that but do you have any tips on a easier way to bathe my dog
I wish it was this easy. My pup freaked out and try to jump out. Even with peanut butter I can’t calm her down or keep her still. She had collar on and fought me so hard. My other dog hated bath but he calmed down after a few minutes and let me bath him without having to wrestle
My problem is, is getting my 70 pound boxer in the tub. He refuses! My husband tried and he flopped around like a fish out of water so we didn’t force him

Peanut butter won’t work for my dog

Hmmm..I noticed you skipped the part of getting Mac in there.😅😅😅
What a good dog
that dog is nowhere the whirling jumping tornado that I deal with at my home
My dog is huge, and hates her back end washed or brushed. She will sit, push against the wall…it's terrible. What do I do?

Hmm? You got away with only one dab of peanut butter at the beginning 🙂
You guys are sooo awesome!!
I don't know why dogs get so obsessed with human food
My dog will take or leave peanut butter and he’ll only eat it off of my hand!!
I have to literally put my bathing suit or shorts-Boxers on when I give my Berner pup a bath…
He absolutely L-HATES it! 😃
And it takes 2 grown men to really bathe him…
(Videos on muhhh channel if ya care enough to see The most handsomest pup in da milky way!)
My dog hates peanut butter is that weird?

your dog is so polite.
My dog tries to bite me and run away whenever I take her for bathing any suggestion

Can't get over the fact that you didn't take the collar off
Lol. My dog is too smart to fall for food during bath. She's only interested in getting out. Can't out trick a female boxer.
Thank you 🖤

Try this trick with a 130 pound German Shepherd. How would you even get him in that tub?
You go girl!
