It's so funny when they start biting the button cause that's when you know the association with a treat is starting to be there (just a little bit wonky still lol)
You are training dogs to press buttons for attention. The rest is selective interpretation and video editing to give the illusion that dogs can speak English.
I searched for this video and realized I myself probably don’t have the patience to teach my cutie this lol. No doubt in her abilities. But we are all the way at learning paw😂
This is sooo helpful- I’ve had a couple buttons out for a few days but couldn’t get my dogs to press them. When I press them they understand the meaning. One says “outside please” and one says “treat” they run to the door when I press the outside button but just dont understand they can use it to ask!! Hopefully working with them your way will get us there- thank you!
First you need to learn how to speak. Its a BUTTON not a BUD'IN. Your marker timers are to slow. No wonder it takes 3 days to accomplish what should take only one short session.
Instructions Unclear, my dog keeps eating the treats and ignoring the button 😭 and if i hide the treats, she waits until I give her a treat, still ignoring the 🔘 😭
I’ll show my untrainable basenji once and he will paw the crap out of it. He’s getting a water button, not food, not walk, not outside, not potty (which will be used maliciously to get outside). Basenjis are too prone to lying cheating and stealing for those other buttons.

What’s a buddin?
How do you deal with a dog that's not food motivated though?
Your dog loves to push the “buddin”
Buddun
Maybe smack the button and feed yourself?.. keep doing that, incentive, no?
What brand buttons do you recommend buying? There are so many to choose from.
Thank you for this video. Have been wanting to try this.
How do you teach them to give you their paw 😅
This was great to see. I don’t even have a dog let alone training one but they are so smart I love all poodles/ poodles mixes

I can’t use a clicker with my dog so I just say good if he does something right. He’s very sensitive to sounds and the clicker scares him.
