You shouldn't have to carry a pound of kibble everywhere you go for him to behave, if you have to bribe your dog to behave he's not trained,you are.

I just got a shepherd two days ago. He w 10:50 as found roaming a neighborhood and was caught by a lost dog rescue. Hes been in foster care ,no one has claimed him. Im starting today with your video .I've had dogs my whole life ,but not from scratch.Hes smart ,sweet disposition.And handsome.All eyes will be on him and I have a lot of work to do with him..Thank you for a good start .Im filling pockets in an old apron now.
One concern I need help with, I have a cat who I love dearly, he ran her off with a vengence. Any advice to handle this? She grew up with my last rescue ,she eas a kitten and he was blind. She was his seeing eye cat and never left his side.He passed on Mothers Day. She belongs here.

Taking our new rescue outside right now. In 2 wks of having him now, he’s learned to sit, down, wait, find it….Behind our home we have a beautiful field that we mow even though it’s our towns ‘common land.’ It’s perfect for training! I never understood the concept of heel back in the day for some reason??? Idk why??Watching you just cleared it up for me finally! Thank you! Our new boy is a 6,7 yr old Pitbull. He’s wicked mellow and always just happy❤He’s very food motivated because the poor thing was starving. He’s eating good, homemade food now with supplements and should be good and healthy soon hopefully! Our vet said he is healthy overall so….He has been training very well with me using dehydrated liver and also chicken hearts. I’m so excited as I know he’ll nail this!!!! Proud of our beautiful new fur baby❤❤❤❤❤Thanks again!!!!
