I have a 11 month old Pitweiler and ima try this! He’s doing better on the leash since I got him at 7 weeks old
But I let him fight the leash while ignoring him, and when he calms I make him walk to the edge maybe 10-12 yards so ima try shorter steps! Can’t wait to walk him
I wish that channel had more Yorkies! I love every dog as much, but as a Yorkie owner I wish they had a little more playtime.

Toy breeds get away with a lot of lack of training. Mainly bc being in the house they learn what’s bad and learning basic commands

I love it that this time, it’s a Yorkshire Terrier in the demo. Small breed, medium breed or large breed doesn’t matter. If it barks at the front and wags it’s tail at the back, it’s a dog. People thought my daughter was nuts to take her Chihuahua puppy to obedience class. They thought we were crazy to socialise her. They thought we were cruel to make her walk instead of carrying her around all the time.
Yes, for certain things you do need to account for their size and for certain breed-specific traits and tendencies. But for the majority of things, the same basic principles apply.
