I have two Siberian huskies one of them loves to go outside and watch the fireworks. The other one is terrified. 😢
Amen…🎉😂❤✝️🇱🇷. I am shocked of how many pet owners are stupid when it comes to protecting them. We have too many fireworks constantly thru out the year. I hate them. I have to rescue animals cuz owners rather please themselves versus their pets. Too many idiots out there..🥴🫣😵💫🥺

I have keep my dog on my bed. She won’t settle otherwise. She runs around looking a safe place to hide, jump out of my arms if I’m holding her. And this lasts a long time for us because our neighbors light fireworks off randomly, not crackers real loud fireworks throughout the night in the week up to and after Christmas. We can’t even predict it either, they will start before sunset and carry on well past 2am sporadically. I really can’t go out during the period, poor thing just shakes and pants.
Help you dog for roof and fence construction
My dog doesn't want to go out for a walk or play during december/january (firework and firecracker season). She ignores treats or even a piece of steak when she is upset. The drugs don't work, she is just half-asleep but still aware of everything (even more stress). I am not drugging her out. I want to learn how to help her fight the stress and not buy products!
Ive always trained my dogs. Desensitisation training. Ie lots of playing firework sounds in the first year of having them.

The ppl in my neighborhood have been doing fore works and fire crackers and all this noisy stuff till like 11:00 pm! The whole week and my dog is super scared and stressed

I work my dog during fireworks 🎆 she ignores them for the most part and focuses on the ball and praise. Start them young every 4th and new years. Make the effort to make it normal, they deserve it.
DO NOT CODDLE OR GIVE YOUR DOGS TREATS DURING FIREWORKS….by doing this you are validating that they should be afraid of them. Instead act like nothing is different from usual. Ik its hard but this kind of stuff will make it much worse….

I hate fireworks so much. Useless things.. I hope something replaces them they're genuinely the most annoying damn thing I've ever experienced and what it does to dogs / animals in general is kinda cruel honestly
Yes drug your dog , your vet only sedates your dog when they have to.
Can you honestly tell me that your Dutch shepherd is calm when they start
blasting away? No medication works on mine. He bark’s like crazy all day long, I tried a bark collar but it has no effect either. He does look like he’s having fun about “chasing” the fireworks sounds away🤷♂️
It’s easy. Desensitize the dog. Play loud noises on your tv and boom dog isn’t scared anymore.

My dads dog literally scratched his nails on the wall to get out of the house and his nails were just VANISHED and he just kept trying and trying and my dad said he ripped his paw like a bit like apart and he ripped the couch apart and he just like had a huge scratching thing all over his house, now he’s dead cause that was a long time ago:( I feel so bad do the people who like get the fireworks actually like THINK about dogs? My dog that’s really afraid of fireworks looks exactly like your dog but with all black fur, she’s a rescue she used to be a stray dog and we took her in , but we never are sure what she is , what type of dog is yours ?
