I would love to know when you can use commands learned without treats. My pup has quickly learned that she’s not going to listen to me if she knows I don’t have a treat. I give her plenty of praise and smiles when she does something great but she’s more food driven than strokes and cuddles. Please help 😢😂
I just found you and am training my 5 month old 2 bit bull puppies. whew! I am doing short 15 minute training sessions. They are both very different. By boy Atlas, has very sharp teeth….my girl Merica… is not as interested in this but she may be coming along.

Dude, this is waaaay harder than it looks. My puppy has no clue how to take the snack out of my hand, she starts biting like crazy. My hand gets more damage than a snack

I don't know if you're still gonna see this comment but I have a 5, nearly 6 month old GS pup who I'd trained till he was about 3 months before i had to go to university. I was away for two months and im back now but he hardly responds to any of the fommands anymore, he doesn't even respond to his name either. What would you advice i do?
