Service dogs live very fulfilled lives. I once saw a border collie clean up a house while the owners were away. Was really amazing.

I don’t know what to do with my one dog. She recently got very sick, almost died, after she got better she suddenly seems to have separation anxiety at night. She is restless and does not want to be alone. Her breathing quickens and she can’t calm down, but the moment I sit next to her she calms down. Ok fine, so let her into the bedroom so I can sleep, but then she gets nervous when I sleep too long😅 and she wakes me up to calm down again

hi! i have a 3 year old golden doodle.he’s never been left alone at home because my stepfather was always working from home and literally never went outside despite me telling him to leave so the dog could learn to be alone.. 3 years later and now i’m left with this issue completely alone and can’t even step outside of my apartment. he loses it completely and barks non stop. what can i do? i know it’s late but at this point he can’t stay alone and i’m braking down mentally. is there any hope?

Cesar, my sisters dog moved in and we are going through this. I want you to know within minutes it was working. The reason I want you to know is because you are still vital even to this very min of this day. You have had great purpose in your life. Not just for you but to progress humanity forward. All for a reason you might not see just yet. But still to this moment you are making a difference. I have watched you all these years and sir, I thank you for all you have done and do and still do. Thank you for this video. I am making it a must watch for everyone in the house each morning till we are all on the same energy and its routine. So we can all be balanced lol. Super hugs and high fives sir.

I do not own any pets, but if I did, I would start by leaving them in the house or apartment (or even just in a different room) alone for a few minutes here and there while we work outside, cook, or go to the neighbors,' then 1/2 an hour to an hour while we go to get groceries, and then all the way up to a couple of hours, while we go for a walk or go to the movies. My family had a couple of dogs when I was a teenager.

So what if this doesn't work? If I try to get in the dogs away when he's trying to chase them out the door he will attack. And he's not playing trust me he will wait till he gets so angry and he separated from his dad. And what if he doesn't stay on the focal point

I've tried to treat trick and he just doesn't care. There's nothing that will calm him down when my husband even goes outside to bring the garbage he just goes crazy crying and scratching and barking. I've never seen a dog go so mental my older dog loves me but this one. He could care less. I just don't know why he acts like it's the end of the world with his howling and screaming it's insane

My 3 month lab won't let me walk away 10 steps from him before he leaves his crate. I've tried to quietly put him back in 50+times, only rewarding with a treat when he stayed. He only lasts 10 secs max before he is out again
    Please help 🙏

Love your explanation into their viewpoint! Question though- when you leave for the day, do you tell them to go to their reference point? They don’t have to stay for the whole time in that one spot, but don’t you want them to not break the pattern of waiting for you at that place?

I have a question… my dog follows me everywhere at home but she IS a service dog like Cesar said in the video… is it okay? When she is alone she doesn’t cry or destroy things… so I don’t know if I should let her do it? I’m crate training her anyways!

Consider taking your dog to a dog garden/pet nursery every morning and pick them up for lunch. So they socialise with other dogs and learn to stay without you for a short period exactly like kids.
