My deaf uncle wants his first dog to be Doberman pinche, is it a good idea?? My parents are planning surprising with a dog on his birthday that coming up in a few months so we’re still tryna decide if it’s best
I am not a dog expert when I had the August before. And I'm curious what will be the best one for me. My notice when I get dogs thumbs up the happy.Or sometimes the bumping to me want to be petted
my first dog was a great Pyrenees. Do not recommend. Mine came with food aggression, and constantly wants to challenge my fiance. Not sure if I just had bad luck though.
edit: I tried hand feeding occasionally, and just sitting beside him. Distracting him with food during, say, a nail clip, was out of the question bc he nipped HARD when he didnt get his way. We went to muzzle training, but he only acts up when its off. Difficult, clever brat.
If people didn't pick a dog based on looks and done their research on what dog would fit their lifestyle then there would be no need for canine behaviourists or dog shelters for that matter.
I'm a fan of the Shetland Sheepdog. They are very smart and easy to train. They can have very high energy and you have to be prepared for that. They also can have a strong herding instinct, but if you know how to handle that you can curb that instinct. If you socialize them well they can be great with kids.
Love your videos & advice. Im low experience senior, low vactivity. Need smaller breed. Past pals shep mix, flat coat lab, shelty, collie mix,beagle/hound mix.❤

Siberian Husky. After having one any dog you get after that will seem like an easy walk in the park.
Is a beagle good? My sister recommended it
Planning and hoping to get a golden retriever today! First time getting a dog

What if they are too high energy for you?
