10 month old German Shepard, male (Apollo), Junction City, KS, Thank you very much! This was so simple and amazing! I tried it a few times in the yard and then went out for a walk! I couldn't believe how simple this was. It was the most pleasant walk ! I used to get anxiety taking Apollo for a walk, because the bigger he grew, the stronger he pulled! Thank you very much!
I have the opposite problem. Plants their feet and refuses to walk. I've binged all your videos and can't find anything like that. Tips? Thank you so much for all the information on your videos.
I feel like I'm doing everything these trainers do and have told me and yet my 7 1/2 year-old German Shepherd is still horrendous- improved but still bad on a leash
I would like to add that i takes 15minutes but only if the dog is tired from 2hour walk/run, otherwise only things in his mind are poop/pee. After all this done then is right time to teach
I just bought a prong collar for my 6 month old lab who pulled like a freight train on a slip lead, Martingale and flat collar. First time out he stopped pulling with your technique, no yelping, no harm, no issues, took very little correction, the collar was deterrent enough in many situations.
Wish I had tried this sooner, got spooked by negative videos on prong collars.
Ive used this on my 11 month old american bully / pitbull not entirely sure what her breed is but within 10 minutes she dont rly pull still working on it but shes gotten noticeably better
It's simple until you have a dog with barely any play or food drive that would refuse even cheese or hot dogs on most walks when offered. (And yes, my dog eats after the walk not before). It's hard to teach them when they don't take your currency.
The only thing I would add to this video is this isn't a one and done fix. You might have to start every walk retraining the perfect leash manners for a while before they start to innately just fall into position every time.
I have been doing this with my rescue dog on a leash. It's been 3 weeks, and he's finally showing improvement. I've been consistent, firm, but loving with treats, and I stop when he pulls or I turn. Cars squirrels planes ppl get him wound up and distracted from me. This has not been easy! 15 minutes no way..hey hey! I am not not giving up. I have Hope😊
Nope. Not a dog who's super high energy, super excitable, super distracted/interested in everything, super smart and super stubborn all in one. Come try it with my baby… please 😭🥲

Isn’t it “walking horribly” ?
Adverb?
Erm..if that’s all it takes, I think my dog came with a factory defect😅
My Dog doesnt take treats when he is outside he just spitts them out , german sheperd
What if they don't move at all when theyre on a leash?
All good of you want to use a prong collar. Just remember a dog thats been bitten will bite back 😮
Mine is 5 years 🤣🤣
Where can I find that video
Prong collars are illegal in 🇦🇺
Thank you
Clickers are stupid and a scam. Just say "good" like how hard is it???
Hi way is my dog not looking at me when he is next to me (he does not pull )

What is your opinion on this dog type of training?
3 steps only work with treats

Would love to see this work on an EBT 😂😂
Help
I have the opposite issue. She won’t move.
His techniques really work!
This does not work for my border collie
I’ll have to check out the video
Would be good to see this guy try this with a border collie that's been walking with an anti-pull harness for 2 years… different kettle of fish

My dog doesn’t care about treats and breaks into a full blown sprint the second the leash goes on so that took me a few weeks to break lol

When exactly did you see him beeing or recommending harsh?
Would this work on a British bulldog ?
❤️
My Vizsla is also 5 month old and walking perfect on loose leash when I tell him to do so. I am glad I use the same way as you are showing here.
For my beagle it has taken 10 month and still does not listen all the time
I noticed the choke chain. I guess he would walk perfectly with averse training.
5 months old, what breed is that 😮

What if your dog has legs that bother them a lot?
