Most videos are about nervous dogs that are reactive/aggressive – can someone direct me towards advice for a dog that’s nervous but very passive / avoiding interaction with dogs?
Hi, my dog is super anxious. She’s very sensitive to noises and We shifted cities a year ago. The new city is far more noisier than the earlier one – our dog just refuses to come out for a walk. If somehow she does come down the apartment building she keeps pulling to come back inside. She’s a rescue that has been with us since she was 2 months old – not food motivated at all. Any tips?

Ive always been amazed st how much responding to energy works with children and adults too really. We do it whether we realize it or not just sometimes we respond with the wrong energy. Cesar is an extremly intuiitive and insightful person snd i love him.

I have a Rottweiler male. He turned 1 year this 17th. He disliked vehicles a lot. When we are walking on the road, he would launch and start barking. I try to divert his focus whenever cars are approaching but he's much smarter than i thought. I don't know what to do. Kindly give me some suggestions to improve his behaviour
It's most often the person holding the leash that needs a little direction, encouragement, and practice imo. We all want the best for our dogs, and sometimes, we dont see some of the inconsistencies that lead to confusion and sometimes aggression. But what to do,how to proceed when I am confident and wanting to make the walking without tense,also giving order sit down for a while when the dog is very excited but then when starting to walk again the dog can be excited or nervous in a short time?
I have a very over anxious almost 3 yr old. She was doing really well but we have had alot of upheavel in the past 2 yrs. I don't tighten her leash she pulls super bad. We are doing better somedays others not. She is a really hyper and i feel like i am failing her. How do you make them stop pulling me ?
Cesar, I need your help. My 1 y/o boxer won’t go for walks. He won’t even leave the yard. I can leave the back gate open all day unattended and he won’t step near it. If I bring out the dog leash, he immediately lays down, and won’t get up until it’s out of sight. It takes him 45 minutes to walk less than 100 feet from the drive way. He loves fetch/frisbee, I throw and he brings it back. We can play for hours. But break out the leash for a walk, and he’s a different dog.😔

None of your shows have NEVER BEEN able to address my little 5 year old anxiety since her big Sister Golden Retreiver had died due to cancer. I have worked her whole life. But now due to a medical situation I can't afford
My beautiful boy is getting aggressive after being attacked a few times. I feel like I’ve let him down. But yesterday I gently lead him around the back yard while using the blower vac. He calmed right down down and his barking outside has reduced markedly. Little steps for my big boy. Love him to bits.
Dearest Cesar, I named my chihuahua after you! AND he turned out to be so smart clever and loving, he is an absolute joy to have around. His paramour “Lolita” (1/2 Chi 1/2 miniature Foxy) had their 1st litter recently. Wonderful little puppies, but crickeys it’s hard to find homes for them! Now we are wrestling with keeping the two left and desexing the lot! So much has changed in Australia 🇦🇺 regarding the rules of dog breeding.
