Dog walking near you is fine, but probably you lost the whole purpose of his outdoor walk. Dogs have a need to explore and sniff while they are on a walk. That’s their natural instinct. I see that being lost in this kind of walk.
I used to have a GT who would walk like this, but I also wanted her to do what dogs wanted, to run. I would say go play, then she would sprint off. Her re call was perfect. A very long time ago I had a cocker spaniel who was the same.
So what exactly keeps a dog doing this when treats are no longer part of the equation? Wouldn’t they eventually catch on to the fact they’re not getting treats/food anymore for this behavior so they stop doing it?
My dog only walks right by my side off a leash but on the long leash he has nothing to do with me and frantically takes treats and ditches as fast as he can. I just don't get it!
No, I’m just wondering this my dog is having trouble around humans. I try to like train her and stuff I don’t know. Can you make a tutorial for that? This helped a lot thank you.
I don't know what I did right… but my dog would never walk off leash. If he pulled the leash and I dropped it he would stop and wait for me to pick it up again.
Y'all are too soft, what if there is something more interesting than food,or he is not hungry. What if he sees another dog,to stop the pulling you do corrective u turns and off leash you need prong collars and E collar's and don't mind the spelling

My dog likes misbehaving more than she likes treats.
Nice training but I think he just expects u to give him treats if he stays… (don’t hate me)
What happens when you run out of treats?
Yes. I’ve got all of that! I love it!

Yes that works great until they see another dog or a squirrel or a rabbit😂

What if my dog just leaps at me if I have a treat? Im smaller than her 💔✌️
not thinking this would work with three excitable miniature daschunds. Love the name though – Butters 🙂
I want to see this again in 4 months without the treats in that time
so cuteeeeeeee
awwwwwwwww
What's that mean" both behaviors on cue"?

Alright step 1 get a dog
a dog should ALWAYS be on a leash.
Genuine question, would this work on dogs like chihuahua?
Butters 🙂 Love it.
