I just used a prong collar and whenever my dog got too far I did a quick move back and after a day of this she never pulled past the leash

Im trying to do this with my parents dog
    Shes so untrained it’s awful
Shes a pitbull terrier mix, more terrier than pit but she still can haul ass
And she does whatever she wants whenever she wants and im tired of it so im working on walking w her so she is no longer dragging me down the street.

My dog the one with the blue eyes is not best to heal but when I'm telling you right now whenever I take her out in public she behaves super well she is super well-behaved she walks beside me and I have no leash pressure sometimes I even just do what you do is put the leash right over my shoulder and she walks beside me she's not the best at heal but she does really good in public

We are in the middle of your leash walking course. We use a Star-mark training collar only because we don’t have the exact prong color you recommend but one is on order. Our dogs are about 80% good on the leash. I’m looking to improve it to 100%.

With your techniques even without the exact proper equipment we’ve seen an improvement from the techniques we learned on your channel and the classes have gone into more detail which I highly recommend the class.

Your videos are what helped me with walks. I have a 160 lbs 1 year old neapolitan mastiff and without your videos i wouldnt be able to leave the house with him. He goes to alot of places with me and does so good. Forever grateful 🙏

asking for any advice in this topic ! : my australian cattle dog is well behaved on a leash because i've been recently leash training him. but we went on a walk the other day and passed this person's house with 2 offleash HUGE males that came right up to my dog (like 2 feet ahead of him) and started barking and growling at him but refrained from attacking. my dog tried to ignore them, but they got too close for comfort, he had to stand in front of me and bark back. Im not sure if i should correct him because i believe this behavior is okay, because he didnt initially engage with them, and they were the ones threatening and growling and he was just being protective. – any advice would be greatly appreciated, i am unsure in many aspects about training my dog because i am a minor and under 18 and still learning. 🤗
