Come and try that with my Sholly Luna… She will everything, trick and even heard moms lap dogs when they are chasing imaginary mice where imbusy,,, but forget about getting her to shut up…she onlly changes the tone of her bark but the voluma stays at max…

There’s always a need for diagnosing and fixing problematic canine behavior, but this is not that it is the training manual I need before I even consider getting a dog.
Great vid my guy thank you. My rescue really struggles with focus so using this as part of my toolbox. She’s distracted outside, looking everywhere else but me. I’ve followed the tips you added in the comments and guided her on the 1st few (rewarding just for looking at me initially then directing the sit) to speed up the first few and establish the behaviour. It’d be great if you could do a short on training focus 🙏🏼
this video seems a bit more advanced, what if your dog doesnt give a crap about you or treats outside and is too distracted? How can you treat your dog to first be very attentive to you
I guess growing up on a farm made me a bit different. I’ve never been one to let animals jump on me. A few have tried—some even do a little two-step on their hind legs—but I don’t allow contact. I don’t make direct eye contact when meeting a dog, and if one starts to jump, I block it and might say “no.” It’s just never really been an issue for me. Oh and I’d never approach a dog I don’t already know. I see so many people do this at parks. 🙂↔️

Mine is not food motivated but maybe with cooked beef pieces. Heaven for her, but not always. So attention stroking briefly might be for her ?
