Hi! All 👋🏼 I'm launching my pet supplies shop and need testers. I’ve got just a few spots left for dog lovers to test 10 dog products. You pick ANY 10 items. I cover the cost, you only pay $15 for shipping. No catch, just need honest feedback after your dog tries them. Are you interested?
I have tried everything and my dog will not get it. Literally spent thousands on training and he doesn’t just pull he drags me. I tried a slip lead but I seriously think he was going to choke himself out before he realized what he was doing like he just doesn’t get it😩
My dog pulls a lot. No respinse to treats, she will actually spit them out because she wants to lunge at a cat. If i try to turn and walk away, she doesn't follow, just plants herself harder. I once stood for 20 minutes at a corner while she pulled and hunted a cat. I do not have that level of patience.
Look, I have a pitbull I try praising. I don’t let the dog lead me anywhere. She pulls like crazy no matter what she makes the one you’re trying to walk in the video look simple. They are very stubborn dogs. This is the hardest one I’ve ever had to teach to walk on a leash she’s getting it slowly and that’s it. To choke list doesn’t do a damn thing she chokes herself out constantly and doesn’t mind doing it. I don’t fucking get it. The choke leash isn’t worth a damn I have to be very vocal and controlling of her constantly. It’s very irritating.
I have a dog hoop, but I stopped doing that and I really hope that I can get her to walk straight. She just won’t listen. Every time we go on a walk and she sees a dog. She almost pulls me across the street. There’s just one time when there’s a German Shepherd and my dog is a jack Russell terrier/hound And she’s really cute and seven. I love her, but I’m just hate when we go on walks because she just nonstop will pull me so there’s this one time with the German Shepherd was about to jump over the fence and my dog was looking at it and she ran. There was cars and stuff. She did not get hit by a car thank God, but she like ran and stopped for the cars and then I almost got hit by a car because of her, so I hope this works.
My dog is a leash puller but without the leash she’s perfect wont run and listens to me 😅😅😅😅 she’s not aggressive great with dogs, cats and children ❤ but the leash 😅😅 I got to perfect this
Yes, some dogs won’t pull if they realize the leash will choke them. That’s not a training tip, that’s common sense. And if you end up with a stubborn dog who pulls anyway, you can permanently fuck up glands and other things in their neck, some of which can eventually shorten their lifespan.
I’ve been trying this for the past ten walks, hasn’t made a single bit off difference. Now he just sits when I stop and as soon as we move again he pulls.
Don’t do this with 2 pullers at the same time or else you’ll wind up either dragged 10 feet like me or damn near split in 2 if they decide to skidattle opposite directions
My dog chokes himself out with a slip leash he doesnt stop. Huskey lab what do i do? Even if i plant my feet he dkesnt care bc he just looks around and sits ignoring me
I'm going to try this method. My dog is almost 4 and still pulling. I want him to learn how to walk on a leash so we can have fun and go for walks. Not me being dragged down the street by some crazy beagle.
I would definitely recommend not attaching a leash to the harness itself. I would recommend using a prong collar, I have fixed several dogs that think they're trying to pull a sled with a prong collar.
Ive got a golden. I swear the breed has ADHD (i have it too). She forgets all the time, almost instantly. Any time she sniffs, she pulls. I try this and she's good for 30 seconds, until she gets excited again.
My staffie isnt interested about any treats when she is out walking. 5 year old rescue. Perfect in the house but screams and pullls and lunges on walks. Please help. Ive tried cheese, chicken, doggy chocolate etc etc.
Dog sat a few years ago for a friend. She had a beautiful Husky that had a very, very bad habit of leash pulling. Bad enough to the point of nearly going into the street and almost getting hit by a car. He was around two years old when I watched him, and it took literally a day and a half, but I managed to lessen his pulling with this method. With how stubborn Huskies are, it takes significant patience to deal with them, and it really did not help that he was not properly trained as a puppy.
I have a puppy and he's so excited for the outside time it is difficult to get his attention. I even had training treats with me. When he went potty I tried rewarding him. When I finally got his attention he sniffed the treat and nosed it out of my hand and went the other way. 😂😅
I genuinely think my mastiff has some kind of mental disorder. He doesn’t respond to any kind of training. Just for context I have a fully trained German shepherd who can walk off leash, and a half assed trained black mouth cur that also walks well off leash. This is the only dog I’ve ever met that I couldn’t get to walk properly
Bro, stop giving bad advice. The only problem was that you induce a biological response to pull when you use a harness. Switching to a slip lead was the fix, its not hard or complicated. This vid could have been 10 seconds long, IE Don't use a harnesses unless you are trying to elevate drive.
i dont think my dog considers it a walk unless hes pulling my 230 pound frame around. 50 pound pit lab mix gives me a run for my money. although sometimes its enough and i plantmyself and he comes back toward me and walks next to me
Harnesses are the least helpful tool to train a dog too. Slip lead or a prong collar is best way. I taught both my gsd in 1 week to walk beside me, 5 ft in front with no rewards system other than a toy each and now they are 100% off leash walkers
For godsake people remember the walk is for the dog, not you. So let them stop and sniff and quick jerking the hell out if them every time they stop. Also be respectful of those in your community and don't let your dog poop on other people's property and don't assume because you like dogs and your dog is never aggressive with you that they will not be aggressive or react out of fear before they have time to gauge the situation. Step off the path or sidewalk and let other's pass comfortably or cross the street.

What type of bread of dog is that

None of this shyte ever works
Literally every dog I've owned. 😂

What kind of dog breed is that? I just adopted a dog that looks exactly like this dog. Also, she pulls the same way.

People strapping a harness onto their dog and thinking they won't pull 😂
Can you come train my dog? i've been trying for two years and I feel like I've gotten nowhere 😢

dogs will get more stronger if you feed them, and get bigger, or they will break a Leash
My dog is terrible even on a. Slip lead or prong collar or harness
My Aussie probably worst

Thanks! 🐾
slip leashes won't work on power breeds like german shepherds or pitbulls which actually cause serious issues due to the strengths of their pulling
My dog pulls bc she’s scared outside. It’s impossible to get her attention when she’s activated. Nothing works.
But that don't work with a pup as you can't use slip lead on puppy that pulls as it can damage thier developing kneck
he was on a harness so of course he’s been taught to pull harder
No, you haven’t met my dog. It’s ridiculous.

You mean if it pulls it choke
Or use prong collar for quicker results

slip lead is incorrectly attached, stop posting videos like this
What about if the dog is heavier than you? As in, the dog weighs 20 pounds more than you? Then what?

Not to mention vests are made for pulling
Good you are teaching people to save money unless they actually need it.
I’ll try this with my dog. She’s definitely a bulldozer dog.
Don't use a harness.

The harness is the problem
Slip lead
