I know this is an older video. I hope someone, even from comments, replies. I brought home a 9.5 week old standard poodle puppy 4 days ago, and the houseline is constantly when out of the crate. But she still chews it. She's with me 24/7, and all I've been doing is watching her and replacing the line with chew toys…is this a normal time or should it take longer for her to get bored of thw line? I thought she'd be over it by now.

The house line thing saying hey hey and giving something else didn’t work, and I did it consistently for a couple of weeks , recently I had her ragga toy and houseline in my hand when she was laid down quiet, we had already been learning leave for a few weeks, I wiggled the houseline and said leave it, wiggled the ragga and when she bit said good girl, a few repetitions and she was leaving the houseline so maybe I just need to practice that for a while

You guys are talking about puppies that are slow to come out of their crate. My Bud was a slow riser. I would open his door and tell him good morning and just leave it open and he would slowly wake up and stretch and come out in a minute or two. I understand. Not everyone is a morning person. 😊
