Call me cruel, but it works. We’ve now had our three month old malamute girl puppy for about six weeks. Boy does she have sharp teeth and lots of enthusiasm, man she likes to bite. I have sores on my arms and all kinds of little bite marks. Today, a friend of mine who is a hunter and outdoorsman a real wildlife guy clued me into the secret of stopping a puppy from biting. Mommy dogs don’t put up with biting. When a puppy bites them, they nip it back on their ear. My friend said when your puppy bites, you pinch itits ear so that it yelps and backs off. Wow in one day my puppy has improved 90% with regards to biting me what a change, so easy and it only took a couple pinches on her ear to make her realize I don’t really like that. We have tried redirection, scolding, small slabs on her snout, putting her in the crate, all kinds of stuff. Nothing worked except now a pinch on the ear and within one day almost no more biting you should try it. It works. Good luck.
I dont think puppies should be available until they are trained by a professional. When they bite a kid in the face its always blamed on them, even when the kid caused it.
I got a 9weeks old now and he doesn't just chew on me , he bites hard . my arm and hand is bloody all the time . He gets upset and just bites .ok I know you shouldn't "pop" a puppy but I have and it didn't help, plus I've tried all the things I've watched, I've put a leash and done what you just done ,and he comes at me . I don't think he likes me .what do I do ? I still love him so much . His name is Echo.
I just got a puppy corgi. He is 9 wks old. He has been very difficult with his bitting situation. Everytime I try to interact with him he immediately wants to bite. I tried a few things, but it seems to make him more excited and wanting to bite even more. It is almost like he becames "aggressive" in a way. What should I do?
what i am curious about is the neg stimuli he sees it is coming from you is that a good or bad thing i.,e does it build a longer lasting behavior if he receives the neg stimuli via a remote in your pocket which gives him a jolt– but then at the same time that involves you being there to monitor him which then he will mark as you being in the room. So– what are your thoughts there is no perfect answer I get that– but does this behavior still exist when we are not around to correct? or if we are gone do they go back to chewing on everything because we aren't there to correct them and they can put that together
My puppy just now bit my i dex finger to the bone while playing, i didnot punish him as i was playing tug of war. Does anyone out there have any suggestions for me😮
My problem with my dog is that he behaves well in front of us, once we go out and come he is seen with bunch of papers or stuffs that's been teared by himself around the house
I have a 14 week old German Shepherd. She is a little terror when it comes to biting people. She doesn’t have a problem with biting and chewing on furniture, but when she does bite, she usually throws a tantrum when we correct her. Paws are being thrown, she’s whining and screaming, and she tries to get her teeth on us in whatever way possible. I know theres know way we’ve taught her this is ok behavior. We’ve done everything from popping her leash, holding her collar, shaking the collar, taking whatever she’s biting away, and every combination of those things. Its gotten to the point where my gf, who was the main person who wanted our puppy, wants nothing to do with her anymore. Someone please help us. She has so much to do with her mouth, toys, bones, you name it. We aren’t sure what to do, and i hate seeing my girl get so frustrated all the time.
I recently rescued a dog 13 months old and I have had him 3 months. He bites playfully and no verbal cues or any action will stop him. I resort to throwing a toy and then close myself up in a room. Other times i toss a treat into the crate and upon entering I close the door. After a few minutes he calms down . Will your approach help even though he is not a puppy?
Thank you, I've tried to give my pup her toys as a replacement for her mouthing but it doesn't faze her. I'm going to try your technique now and hopefully it'll work.
I have to save all this videos for the future!!😮 I've been watching your YouTube channel for a month now and in this time I've realized a number of mistakes I made with my dog Ky.

How about for pups that shouldn't wear collars because of their trachea?
you just said he's going to chew and bite over snd over for 3 minutes straight
Thank you been working on correcting my puppies biting. I will definitely try this method.

A 10 minute video for “stop puppy biting in “seconds”” 🤷♂️🤦♂️
could you just get to the point!
Got literally absolutely nothing out of this video.
Great video❤😂 I have a 4 month old staffie puppy, and biting is on🤣🐶 But i know it will stop after a year or so😂😂
Less talking bro
Problem is, she’s now biting the lead???
Get to the fuckin point on how to stop it.
This is my life right now! Thanks for the help!

My puppy darts and jumps at me when biting. Which makes it extremely difficult to grab for tab leash. Any suggestions?
Geez…The Irony of a video titled "Accomplish [X] in seconds!" being almost 660 seconds long…
2:30 into the vid and you don’t seem any closer to saying anything useful. Bye.
If you can't handle a dog doing dog stuff, just don't get one. It's that simple.
Wow best straight forward video ever , awesome and smart.
Recently started an adoption process at my local dog shelter but she’s only 8 months old and I untrained so this is really funny to me 4:10
Taking to long to get on with it. Repeating the same thing…ughh

I have a boxer puppy too and it bites when it plays so I’m glad I found this video!
Hes hyperactive. The moment he leaves crate, nonstop his mouth is busy.
Like to see him try this with our Boston!

Is this tugging keychain on their collar not available for purchase anymore? I can't seem to find it on your store website.
