Thanks for the video, We are at our wits end with our 11 month old female German Shepherds anxiety and fear. She is not abused or disciplined harshly. And for no reason she will come up to us to play, be petted or loved only to instantly change her posture into curled away, ears down anxiety and then urinate. Without this one issue she is the best dog. Once she has a ball or plays with it for a minute or two or goes outside for a walk she acts much more normal with way less anxiety issues. It's like if she's in the house too long without activity and then wants or receives attention or she is petted she will start to curl away and submissive urinate for no real reason, and then run to the door cause she knows it's bad to pee in the house. She is crated at night for sleeping because she won't sleep as well. Would one of these remedies possibly help her with this crazy anxiety so she will calm down and not act so fearful of us? We want her to be happy and us too. Thanks again
My dog Kiwi is the only dog who hasn't been socialized in our case, growing up during Covid. In addition I am a low income senior so her interactions are relegated to the elevator in a place which discourages dogs (everyone loves her) and because she's hyperactive and barks and any other dog bigger than herself … I don't see any viable medication treatment here but tx for your help. Still trying for playdates.
I REALLY love 4 & 5! I'll be ordering some of your cbd! So, I wanted to add one to your list if you don't mind! Arnica 30C! I have a 2yo maltipoo, Pippi. Last night I got a 3 month old cat who is EXTREMELY affectionate to people and my dogs, Pippi, and boxer, Duke. He likes to rub all over everyone – and the dogs lol Duke doesn't mind the cat at all, but Pippi actually took off across the house yipping like she got hurt this morning. Not the case, she is just TERRIFIED of the cat. She started trembling and wanted to be held nonstop. I ordered some Arnica 30C a couple weeks ago for my boxer due to an ear hematoma, but I read it works well for anxiety too. I gave Pip 1 pellet – she was still trembling 30 min. later so I gave her another pellet. All trembles are COMPLETELY GONE. She is still leary of the cat, but not terrified. I just thought this could be helpful for other pet parents 😊 …and btw – I am so very thankful I found you! Your videos are IMMENSELY helpful – thank you so much for everything you help us with 🫠
I would like to give Valerian root to my dog but how do I measure 1/2 ml? That’s so little, I don’t even know. Also, for how long can I give it to my dog and how many times a day?
yay Dr. Jones, i finally found something that works!!! trazodone!!! i treid regular calming chews, valerian root oil, k9 melatonin, hemp calming chews, hemp oil, 1 at a time , then compounded several together and it didnt phase my pit girl Patchi age 13 at all. but i tried 50mg of trazodone and it worked!!!!!! yay she can relax!!! she is super hyper aroused at the slightest move of my hand or foot or when i turn my head. now, she is calmer and can relax! peace love & wellness brother Andrew 👍 🙏 ✌
I purchase Dr Jone's calm chews. They help my mini poodle who has separation anxiety, and my mini who has loud noise- fireworks/thunder anxiety and my Standard boy who hates his face trimmed!! Thank You Dr Jones.
I’m interested in trying CBD… however from what I’ve read, CBD can be toxic for pets.. is this true? I’ve also read that if the product contains THC, a dog may overdose on CBD. Is this true? And if it is, does your personal product contain THC?
Thank you so much for your knowledge & information. I love your channel & am always recommending. I’ve got a very stubborn 1.5yr old Dachshund. Who is too smart for his age. He will not take anything that doesn’t smell like his food. He has immense separation & travel anxiety & I’ve tried just about everything. Will not do meds even the vet recommended it & I refuse. Tried Valerian root or Melatonin tincture. He fights it off on the strongest doses! This can’t be good for his body. Benadryl & Gravol – Nope! What are your thoughts on Adaptil or Pet remedy diffusers? I have never seen any legitimate video other than testimonials. 🙏🏼🥺🫶🏼
I adopted a dog that’s been thrown around the breeders grift and was horribly abused she still has separation anxiety with my wife barely lets me touch her and soo we been using l theinine and it’s been a game changer for sure she’s been able to not have panic attacks when she thinks she’s going to be picked up an handled the olly brand at Walmart was awesome I started taking them myself and do they work thanks for your info melatonin is next
I use Cbd but try not to over once a week. So I don’t want a tolerance or somewhat depend on it. But summer months of storms and fireworks can be rough
Your tips are so helpful and amazing i wish I could take my dog to visit your clinic. I would be your client forever. I love natropath stuff. And it makes life really easy knowing that I have medications natural that I can take as well as my dog and ill only get it if its recommended by a vet or professional.
I thank you so so very much. I will be a loyal channel subscriber forever. I am your biggest fan.
Do you know anything about EFT tapping for pets? Your suggestion of pressure the acupuncture point reminding me of the tapping. It could probably be applied to animals
Super dangerous and dog killer👎👎👎 Had I given this Anti Anxiety Drug on my beloved dog, it would have stopped his heart and killed him on my kitchen floor. This may sound psycho, but something told me NOT to administer a knock out ( I'm calling it ) drug, which his Vet issued me, to give him before a Vet visit, which he hates with a passion. So, call me stupid, but I took it instead. It put me down for half a day whereas I *could not walk*. I outweighed him by 3 1/2 times… he was 60 pounds. You might as well never give your dog anything to "calm " him down and also, you don't know if the drug came from China, which is a death sentence for purity.
My dog has dementia. During the day he's so restless and anxious, he licks all day long and can't lay down. I'm getting at a point of desperation. I'm giving him CBD but it doesn't seem to help. It did help his arthritis. But he's not calming down. The only place he's calm is outside. I can't be outside all day. It's very cold here and I have work to do. I'm also giving him lemon balm (dried). Doesn't do much either. I'll try some of your other recommendations. If only he would lie down, then I can somewhat go back to a normal life. I'm gutted that my dog has cognitive dysfunction. Help….

My dog just recently became frightened of thunder. I have no idea why it happened all of a sudden. Any ideas?
Thanks for the video,

My dog used to be scared of thunderstorms. Now I give her CBD dog treats to counter that. #midnightcbd

My dog is 77lbs, am I right in saying that it would be safe to give 770mg of L-Theanine twice a day then? Seems alot.
I love him. ❤❤
