Licks You- This is a dogs form of grooming and they are communicating that they love you and want to make you happy. They also might be trying that tasty snack you just had.
Eye Contact/Watching- If your little fur ball is making eye contact with you it is because they want to know more about you. This is how they take in information about who you are and what makes you happy.
Belly Rubs- If your pup is letting you give them a belly rub it’s because they are happy and trust you. This is a vulnerable position for a dog so if they aren’t happy with you then they probably won’t let you give them a belly rub.

Moved in with my girl and her dog loved me immediately. She does these things all the time, and every time i come home and my girl is sleep she wags her tail for me even when she doesn't look at me right away. She knows daddy's home and i love her.
Yet if i stand over my woman to play around she'll get on top of her to guard her 😂 last time she did that she even growled at me, but she be curls up on my belly every night!
