I think your training is great! I learned the same process on barktok. I started with food, but added a clicker, which seemed to make the dog's performance more stable, and finally replaced it with a command.
i am picking up 3 month old Rottweiler/Healers mix.. 6 of them .. I hope to be able to train all of them at the same time..with help from my wife and 3 kids.

My pup is a shepherd/malinois…. She keeps trying to bite my hand off! 😅
My dog is 3 and struggling. Not because she doesn’t know it, but because she’s stubborn. And only corrects herself when I bend down.

Don't give to much away dude, you might be outta job! Smh. You literally just held a treat, and got the PUP to follow in a circle! Shame on you!

What breed??
It’s a bit tricky if your dog refuses to follow the treat but eventually the dog will realize “hey if I follow my humans hand then I’ll get a reward”
